Tips for Searching the ARM Bibliography

This utility searches for the publications that you are interested in based on the character strings that you fill in on the form. Filling in more information will give you more precise results. Searching is case insensitive.

  1. Author

Enter the last name of author. You can also enter the initial of the author's first name to further restrict the search. Do this by entering the initial following the author's last name, a comma and a space. Only one author is allowed.

    example A: Smith
    example B: Smith, J

If you do not enter the name of an author, the utility will search all authors.

  2. Publication Type

Select the publication type you are interested in from the list. The default search is all publication types.

  3. Year

You may restrict your search by filling in a year range. The default is currently 1990 through the present.

  4. Words in Title

You may restrict your search by filling in words or phrases that occur in the publication title. Separate words entered with a space.

    Example:
If you are looking for the title of publication with "Solar Radiation", you can enter:
    Solar Radiation

If you select "match all words", the search will return publications that contain the words
    "Solar" AND "Radiation".

If you select "match any word", the search will return publications that contain the words
    either "Solar" OR "Radiation".

  5. Keyword(s)

You may select one or more keywords from the list. The default search is all keywords.

    Example:
If you are looking for the keywords with "aerosols" or "water vapor",
    select "aerosols" and "water vapor".

The search will return publications with key fields containing the words "aerosols" or "water vapor", or both "aerosols" and "water vapor".
